Before and after pictures of the fireplace remodel. We framed out the wall to be even with the brick face, then installed drywall over the entire wall. We moved the ceiling lights to sconces on either side of the fireplace. We built a raised hearth and and mantle. Installed a receptacle in the shelf, above the fireplace and ran hdmi cables through the fireplace. We then tiled with marble tiles in a herringbone pattern.
